Cannes Lions Design Grand Prix Winner 2021

Kühl & Han was approached by AKQA to help visualize H&M’s “Looop”, the world’s first in-store garment-to-garment recycling system. By breaking down the steps of the recycling process, we directed and designed ten slow paced 3D loops to be displayed on giant screens at the flagship store in Stockholm.

We created the ASMR sounds of threads and fabrics is triggered by costumers as they walk past the screens, creating a holistic immersive experience.

An honour to have some ECHOLAB Signature Sound Design feature in the trailer for the upcoming show The Mandalorian - Growing up with Star Wars, Boba Fett was my favorite character which makes this even more special!!

We had the amazing opportunity to take the classic History Channel musical signature and bring it into the 21st century

Nike | Alpha Menace

I wanted to try a different method to create the sound of aggressive traction for this film. A less abstract approach to the sounds. The shoe has three-prong cleats for the traction you need to accelerate and change direction quickly.

I decided to record impacts and the movement of the the cleats using contact microphones buried in soil and under grass and then edited to picture and processed for the final mix. About 90% of the sounds originated with the contact mic recordings. I augmented the sound with lo frequency layers and some dynamic whoosh motion fx.

Sony Bravia - Balloons

Director Andre Stringer filled an abandoned Casino in Constanta, Romania with 4,000 balloons filled with 1,500kg of glitter!!! for the latest Sony Bravia 4K TV campaign.

The soundtrack required some delicate sound design and mixing Tom Odell's cover version of True Colours into the abandoned space (and a LOT of balloon recording for the sound design!)
