1995 : The First Year Of The Future - The fantasies anxieties and ambitions that dominated the 20th century broke through into material reality that year. The AirMax 95 captured this shift in a rare feat of design. 30 years later the 95 still has that feeling of “the future.” Sneakers have no cultural significance or implied meaning at the time of creation.
Cultural significance emerges when a community INDEPENDENTLY adopts these consumer items and imbues them with meaning through their own customs and visual language.
This film is a brief exploration of the time period that followed 1995 through the insular world of New York City Graffiti.

Conceptually “Regular Rabbit” challenges our readiness to believe absurd misinformation by deliberately separating visuals from narrative. One does not match the other. It prompts us to question our own gullibility in the face of even the most outrageous claims.

Kühl & Han was approached by AKQA to help visualize H&M’s “Looop”, the world’s first in-store garment-to-garment recycling system. By breaking down the steps of the recycling process, we directed and designed ten slow paced 3D loops to be displayed on giant screens at the flagship store in Stockholm.
We created the ASMR sounds of threads and fabrics is triggered by costumers as they walk past the screens, creating a holistic immersive experience.
